French for Pain: Le Ow

Holy mother of God, I am in pain!

I did yoga yesterday for the first time in awhile and my muscles are angry. One hour kicked my butt. It's an okay pain. I'm not wincing or writhing experiencing any other unpleasant reactions that start with a "W." I'm just really tight. I could use a massage or a jacuzzi.

I was gonna hit the gym today to lift and run, but I don't want to injure myself or increase the pain the point where I don't want to work out at all. I am literally sore all over, and I know that part of building strength is building on top of that soreness, but I'm unable to decide if this is too sore. I really don't want to strain anything and take myself out for weeks.

Also, do any of y'all have anything exciting to do with salad? I have three heads of romaine lettuce (still!) left over from the VP viewing party and I am so unbelievably sick of vinaigrette, Parmesan, and croutons!

Nice fall salad- add some apples or pears, maybe some raisins and or craisins, some almonds or pecans and some low fat feta cheese... you could even blend up some strawberries with the balsamic to take the edge off- low fat-ish.

If the romaine leaves are whole, you can cook some chicken sausages and at the end, brush the leaves with garlic & olive oil, wrap the sausages and some raw veggies in the leaves and throw them back on the grill or in the oven for a few minutes.

Are you a fan of asian lettuce wraps? Romaine sort of works.

Hope that helps

I don't think I can top ripper03's suggestions because... I'm really hungry now.

So, really, at this point, I would suggest looking up lettuce wraps at food.com, also any kind of chicken or grilled fish (or George Foremaned) is good, and my favorite dressings are the Brianna's Salad Dressings, they've got a lot of flavor.
