Wooo! I feel old and infirm! I have a bruised hip, and I jarred my left shoulder! In other news, I love downhill skiing. If it didn't cost the equivalent of 4 movie matinees, I'd go at least once a week. I'm definitely sore today though, but I guess 7 hours on a cold bluff will do that to you. Especially after a collision or two. Still, it was totally worth it.

Today has been a lazy day of rest, recooperation, and reading. I haven't given up on the Inheritance series. I'm halfway through Eldest right now, and I must admit it's better than Eragon. Don't get me wrong, I'm still super annoyed with Christopher Paolini... but after seeing the first movie and knowing how it completely bastardized the book, I really need to read and then see the others.

I've been watching a lot of movies lately too...
I don't really have much to say about it, except that I loved it. I hadn't seen it, but I love everything Mel Brooks has ever done, and I definitely love Nathan Lane. It was just joyous. Keep it gay, indeed.

I don't know. It just didn't work for me. It was too farfetched for me to buy it as a romantic comedy, and I didn't really care about any of the characters. I did like Luke Wilson playing the lovable, laid-back, stoner. Other than that, I just couldn't get into it and spent most of the movie rolling my eyes at Nic.

Tonight we're going to go see Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Alan Rickman and Dustin Hoffman, here we come. You should see the trailer. It looks like such a beautiful film. I just don't know if I'll be able to sleep afterward.

Nic, Faith, and I watched the last 6 episodes of Dexter (yes, consecutively) and it still gives me the creeps every now and again. I can handle horror and gore in small doses, but I might be overdoing it. I really love that show, though. Props to Showtime, and I'm really glad they've got it signed up for a second season. I have no idea where it will go, but it's been so good this past season I don't really care where they take it.

Which reminds me... I wanted to know.

Skiing! I love to ski, and usually do, but it's been frekishly warm here in PA this winter. It was 76 today, way to warm for it to snow and even way to warm for the Poconos to make fake snow :-(

It's been freakishly warm here too, for Minnesota. I think it was in the 40s today. 0_o Normally, we have a saying...

"The homeless in Minnesota have a name for their fear of death. It's called January."

Normally wind chill is kickin' it down to -68 this time of year. It was 40 today.
