Hey... when I'm not swamped with crap I'll think about making some communities. :)

y'know...if you think about making one I'd be totally down for helping if you want. Cause i've been thinking about it for a while. Like a music/book/movie club. Alternating like a book, then next an artist or cd (that we can put on for ysi or something) then a movie to rent. Just to keep things intersting. and for the music we could have lyrics posted and etc...and i've given this too much thought.

mrrh. :-D

TOTES.

That sounds awesome. The purist in me kind of wants to keep them separate, just so it can be more... I guess focused. That way bibliophiles don't get irritated and leave 'cause only 1/3 of the content really pertains to them. Y'know?

But it could be like a weekly! A book_weekly, where we go though and have a book for a month or so, and talk about it at various points and things!
People can post as they read it, their thoughts... get feedback and then every week we'll have a modpost or something detailing progress, best of's, etc?

Thoughts?

From The Desk Of The V.B
Ouch, shel-to-the-B, you're starting to sound British. Darjeeling? C'mon, we used to sell that at the coffee Haus. What about coffee? Are we going to start reminiscing over Guatamalen HueHue-Tenango? French (Sorry, I mean "Freedom") Sumatra? Ethiopian...whatever that was? Oh, all-right, I like that occasional tea if it's good, but good is such a random term these days. Maybe "Slightly sweet, with a good bit of herbal goodness". That'll do it for me. :)

Re: From The Desk Of The V.B
Holy crap, I miss you buddy.

Also, mad props for remembering that damn Huehuetenango. You are absolutely right about that one. And it was Ethiopian Natural Sidamo. Which, ew.

I haven't forgotten about coffee! I have whole-bean Caribbean Hazelnut, and I am still a sucker for impressive crema! I just also truly enjoy tea. I have always enjoyed tea. I started as a Lipton girl, but I've moved forward and it's been a thoroughly pleasant experience.

Guess my fave tea would fall under 'herbal', but at work we have a peppermint tea that I looooove. It's my cure-all for everything. Stomach ache? Peppermint tea. Sore throat? Peppermint tea. PMS? Peppermint tea. Yeah, you catch my drift. We also have a mango tea that's delicious.

There's a coffee house next to me that has magnificent mango tea! I totally know what you mean.

I really like mint teas. I have a wellness tea that is herbal and contains mint, and whenever I'm feeling even slightly under the weather I turn to it for a pick up and it hasn't failed me yet. :)

I'm so completely thrilled that you like Mate! It's further proof that you are, in fact, entirely comprised of awesome.

And hot beverages are the shit, especially when you live in colder climes (she says as she snuggles under her down throw blanket with a steaming mug of wellness tea).

Oh hey, I found a really neat letter/card store in my neib, and I think once things die down here a little bit I'll be sending you some Christmas tidings. Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and all that. :)
