I hope none of you like the Yankees...

The plane that crashed into the high-rise condominium tower in New York was piloted by Cory Lidle, the pitcher for the New York Yankees.

I am exceedingly relieved that it isn't terrorism related, although most reliable news sources stated openly when the story broke that it probably wasn't. This is a good article, but I really want to know more. Was there a malfunction with the plane? What is the actual death count? It ocillates between 2 and four if you look and switch between articles online.

I'm not really into sports, so I'm not really devastated by this news... but wow. I hereby declare that crashing planes is not to be done unless it's over a strange magnetic island that heals and happens to be full of really attractive people.

Enough seriousness. Is it time for LOST yet?

Yeah, reason #92379324623947238426384 I will never go on a plane again.

...Lost is another one of those reasons, yes.

Well, it was a tiny plane. It's not one normal people would be cruising around in.

Yeah, the plane crash freaked me out at first. It's horrible it happened & had to happen in NY, but I'm glad it wasn't terrorist related.

I wouldn't with a prominent sports figure who happens to pilot on the side, anyway.
