**Disclaimer: Not RL, and not necessarily how Stephen Colbert and/or Jon Stewart roll. It's just how I see it.
The Internet Is Not a Truck
"The internet is not a truck, in much the same way a technologically challenged geezer is not a good representation of the American people," Jon muttered.
"Too long, Jon, but I like where you’re going," Stephen replied without looking up from his legal pad.
"Yeah, but can you believe it? I almost can’t," Jon said wistfully, leaning back in his chair.
"Can’t believe what, Jon?"
"That we actually make a fine living off American politicians saying ludicrous things on national television."
Stephen grinned, pointed his No. 2 Ticonderoga at Jon, and said, "Hey. Don’t jinx us. This is too good."
I don't know what it is, but it's got to be the journalist in me who keeps me thinking about the makings of these shows. Ah, well.
