I'm in a remarkably good mood today, despite the fact that I wanted to smash my alarm to tiny bits this morning. I wake up to punk music every morning. I used to switch CD's every month or so, because otherwise I would get used to the music and would therefore no longer wake up. Dookie by Green Day has had an exceptionally long run. I tried to swap it out with Kid 606, because I knew it would blast me out of bed, but I couldn't even begin to handle it. It ruined my mood because it was such a violent wake-up call. Still, and back to the original story, the song starts off with "I declare I don't care no more." I shouted, "THEN SHUT THE FUCK UP!" into my pillow, grabbed a nearby book and flung it at the snooze button.
I am really not a morning person.
Yesterday was a truly lovely day off. Teh flatmate and I took a 2 hour bike ride, scoped out grocery stores for best prices, went grocery shopping, and bought only fresh food, y'all. We are turning over a new leaf! This is the "anti-box" diet. Anything in a box is a no go. We're also kind of wandering along the lines of the South Beach diet. I'm really inexperienced with this sort of thing, and so... as always, I turn to you guys. So... POLL!
