This is a tasty sandwich!

Few people properly celebrate delicious sandwiches. I am here to rectify this, because this sandwich is a tastegasm.

It has the miraculous whip, the cheese of the Swiss, the mustard of the white wine, the turkey of the smoked, and the wheat bread of the 12-grain Dakota variety. It may be simple, but it is a thing of true beauty. It has the perfect balance of all ingredients. Clearly, I am a master of sandwiching.

Also, I haven't seen a commercial for Grey Poupon in ages. I used to love those things. Now I love Grey Poupon, which I guess makes sense. It doesn't have to rely on commercials anymore, this stuff - like any brilliant produt - sells itself.

Anyway, my only class was cancelled on the most gorgeous day of the week! It's sunny, warm, breezy, and it smells like green! I woke up at 10 and read in a patch of sunlight for an hour. In another hour or so, I'm gonna go to the rec center with Sandy (badminton is ON), but I almost would rather just walk around the lake three or four times because it's soooo pretty. Plus, then the beagle might finally stfu. There are little children outside, shrieking and revelling in the spring-ness and I will allow that they are slightly annoying (even though I kind of want to play with their sidewalk chalk). Gucci, however, thinks they are a scourge upon her territory. Their presence is clearly an abomination unto her because she's been watching them like an extremely malevolent hawk, standing on the arm of the couch and peering out the window (she's such a cat), and growling at them whenever they get near our neck of the sidewalk. It's a good thing she's fixed.

Our herbies love the new weather! The cilantro is perking up and the basil leaves are starting to get biiig. Even though I *just* repotted them, I'm pretty sure they'll outgrow their new pots reeally quickly now that the sunlight is returning to the great whitey north. *sigh* Oh well... I guess we'll just have to buy a garden plot. I'm seriously thinking about it, because I love fresh vegetables and I am totally a closet gardener. Plus, plantlife!

Did I mention that my Herbology teacher's name is Bud? 'Cause it totally is.

So, as you can tell, today has been made of awesome. I've been bopping around here on and off this morning too, because it is made of super-mega-hyper-awesome.

Re: shelby
Hey laaaady.

I feel you on the nostalgia-burg. I got hit with one last night.
Shane never picks up when anyone calls. It's extremely irritating. For awhile, I could undestand why (his phone was in a snowbank in my driveway in Cambridge)... but I write to him. He write's back, but it takes a looooong, long time.

Whenever I go home I try to see him. Again, he's almost impossible to get ahold of. Such a hermit. I find the best luck when I call Jan. I love that woman.

The last I heard from Matt was about a month ago. He e-mailed me, and we talked some philosophy etc. I miss the fuck out of him, but he hasn't written yet. I assume he got ahold of you by e-mail or AIM?

As for me, I'm fine. Still in Minneapolis, still in school. I feel like nothing exciting is happening, which kind of drives me nuts... but I can't complain too much.

How about you? Are you still relentlessly adorable?
How's the college-scape looking?
Where are you these days?

Re: shelby
Yeah shelby.
It is impossible indeed to get a hold of shany-poo. HA.

And yeah. I talked to Matt through AIM a couple of times. Also he emailed me yesterday about a show in San Francisco. Matmos and Kronos Quartet. I am definately going to go!

But he actually CALLED me two weeks ago. That was pretty intense. I was almost speechless.

I am planning to go visit him in June. I already have 400 saved up. And I save nearly 500 a month. So I am going to go. I am a woman on a mission.

OH JAN! That woman is amazing. Whenever I see a Pez despenser I think of her.

Anyways. I am still in CA. I'm a loan officer. Thats about it.

Everything is pretty redundant here as well.

LETS GO TO SWITZERLAND! HA!

Re: shelby
Woah! He called you?! I am extremely, extremely jealous. Clearly, he does not love me anymore.

I'm going to Germany with my Aunt. I was thinking about making a trip down to the land of the Switz... but I don't even know if I'll be able to make it. Money is an awful plague upon my existance.

Baahh. Whatever, let's go. Now. My credit card isn't maxed out yet...

I know! It's so beautiful outside today! Made me sad to be cooped up in school all day long. Every time I left for senior privileges I had a huge stupid grin on my face. It sounded like you had one of those perfectly happy days ^_^v I'm glad your day was so nice =D

XD I'm glad my boring "I didn't go to class" post isn't quite so boring to other people.

We should totally get together and make sandwiches. I also really got a LAMB cd that is "their best" ... and it really is. It came with a cool DVD I haven't watched yet.

ps:
I'm pretty sure he does too. *squee*
Likewise, Shane is totally still in love with you.
