Well shit...

No, I'm not sick but I'm still not going to CommLaw. I'm awake but I'm still not going to CommLaw. Why? Because there's no way I can make it to the bus in time for CommLaw and if I'm late Professor Kirtley will eat my soul. This will mark the third class in a row that I haven't gone (although, I did drop a paper off on Tuesday and then walked out...).

For real y'all, I'm thinking about dropping the class. I already have class until 7:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Do I really need to make this a 12 hour day (especially after wednesday night's obligatory television geekery)? I have 18 credits and 2 labs and a metric ton of reading already without the demon law book of blah blah blah blah *snore*. I'm sure by this point, Kirtley and her TA hate me. If I e-mail them both saying I got sick during the beginning of the semester and would rather give it my all (which is totally a kiss-up lie because I really dont want to give this class any of my time, ever) next semester, they might not loathe me so much.

On the other hand, I'm pretty sure that no matter what I do it's still going to be 8 o'clock in the morning whenever she offers it and that is never going to be ok with me. I am also going to have to take this class at some point in time. BUT! Next semester I will have my own car (actually after this weekend I'll have the car, but whatever) so there wont need to be any more of this being-on-the-bus-at-7:26-when-class-is-at-8:15 nonsense. Also, we've already had one assignment and I am sure if I wanted to I could bust my butt and just be busy this semester. Busy and tired. It's only the fourth class I've missed (oh God, I've only been to two. HEE.), and I can handle snarky professors. The question is, do I want to?

Although, I've also considered just going on the days when things were due and just doing the readings at home. I don't have problems comprehending the law book so I don't need to go in there and have her translate for me. I really don't know how well that would work with this class.

Also, if I drop then I'll need 21 credits instead of 19 to graduate, and that would give me more incentive to stay here the full 4 years that I wanted to. Early graduation would be super nice on my already towering debt, though. Still, all that being said... I value my sanity and prefer to keep a low stress level and 18 credits with 2 labs, 2 writing intensives, and bitchface's class?

Should I drop CommLaw?

Yes. Drop it like it's hot.

Nah. You can do it, you just don't want to (and you'll have to eventually anyway...).
