Truth is, I started writing it when my compter went haywire and shut itself off - thus causing me to lose the file. I don't necessarily feel inclined to start over right now. Instead, I let it chill while I took a run around the lake and I am going to be sore tomorrow, I tell you what. I just had too much bottled energy, and there are only two possible cures for a dangerous stockpile of energy;1) an orgasm or 2) physically exhausting myself. While I would have preferred the former, no dice. The latter sated me, anyway.
This weekend was exactly what I needed. I got my rest in, took a chunk out of my reading, got my party on, and met some really awesome people.
Too effin' cute. Let me just say, ending this weekend with pizza, lounging on the couch, and listening to The Shins = awesome.
Next weekend will be interesting, to say the very least. Alex is coming back and Matt is coming up. Yep.
Faith, Nic, Sandy, and I (and maybe Spencer) are going to go see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at the IMAX, mo'fuggas!!! Be extremely jealous. If you live near the likes of us and want to come, let us know. It's going to be a religious experience.
In other news, I know it kills my father that my political views don't line up with his. Still, I think it's a little much for him to purchase a subscription for me to one of his hyper-republican magazines/newsletters. Honestly, I will probably never read it. In fact, I'll probably just use it for kindling, to be honest. I suppose I could also pass it on to muhnipul8a for amusement, but I'm not that cruel. It's completely futile. Even if I were to read it - which I did - it will only piss me off. It's the same effect this partisan nonsense had on me when I was at home. Things have not changed. I know he's very concerned that my mind will be sullied by "liberal propaganda" whilst I'm at school, but c'mon, it's not like republican propaganda is going to balance everything out. It's not welcome in my house anyway. In short, no dice, Paco.
