I love how most of my posts are made in the wee hours of the morning. The past three entries have been made during the third hour as well. Hmm... odd. Anyway, on to something semi-interesting.
Today has been a pretty laid back day. I've been ill - congested all the way into my ear canals which is throwing me for a considerable loop. Still, I've been productive. I read about 260 pages OMG, and did TWO sketches. One is going to be completed tomorrow, charcoal stylee. I can't decide what I want to do with the new profile one in my sketchbook. Maybe I just want to goof around with pencil, and see what I come up with. *shrug* I'm too out of it to really make any form of an executive decision. Thankfully I won't have to do much of anything tomorrow, what with one class in the afternoon and then the drawing to complete. Hopefully I'll get some more work done on my Oedipus parody, maybe even the Modernized Hamlet in Fifteen Minutes with the assistance of my dear Tom Stoppard.
In other news, Omaha is fast approaching and I'm really excited. I've been feeling really restless lately, wanting to move and travel. I think the warm spell triggered it, but that has officially ended. It is 40 degrees colder than it was last night. 56 degrees colder if you count wind chill, which is evil. Tomorrow we're looking at highs in the 20s. I'm not ok with this. Wherefore art thou, global warming? Siriusly...
Also, the exciting prospect of the day: Matt might be coming back to Minneapolis in two weeks! We find out if he can tomorrow. That'd be ridiculously fun. I am glad he reminded me about the DJ Spooky thing at Coffman though, because I might have forgotten. Even if he can't come, I want to go. Still, if he could come that would make it a really rockin' month. Omaha this weekend, Matt next, Serendipity after that, Doug coming to visit after THAT... woooooo!
Ain't no party like a Felby party 'cause a Felby party don't stop... literally!
