Why do I have such an obsession with old/abandoned architecture?

Ah, tis exquizit.

I too am interested in abondoned places, always find myself exploring....maybe looking for lives left behind.

Yeah... I hear you.

On my trip to Kelleys Island, Ohio, I found an abandoned winery. It was built in 1896 out of hand-cut limestone and was built like an old castle with high arched windows and such. I took pictures but the film is not yet developed. It was so amazing... I want to go back just for that. It's really dangerous because they still do quarrying on the island, and when they blast the entire island shakes... so it could cave in at any second but the underground cellars were so huge and air conditioned almost... you could go in there and find barrel casings and old bottles and such. Completely amazing. =]
