Waking up to Talk Radio... not cool.

Yeah, so, that really has to stop. However, I am awake... and yes, on topic. Canoeing! As last night's entry got cut short and I have dick-all to do until 3:30... I shall take this time to recap, as was previously promised(Ooo! Alliteration!). That being said, it was way fun. The river was higher this time so we didn't have to worry about getting "beached", so to speak. Yet, once again I was partners with Alyssa and she still hasn't grasped the concept of telling me where the rocks are, and thus, we hit a great many of them. Bumper Canoeing! Anyway, we didn't flip over which was a goddamn miracle as we got stuck and I mean stuck in the middle of one of the Class 3 rated rapids. Seriously, up on two rocks, stuck about a foot above the rushing torrent of water, at a complete stop. So, we just rock back and forth and centimeter by centimeter free ourselves and basically drop right onto the insane current and are wisked away to watery freedom. It was intense.

But there is other nonsense that needs to be attended to. Once again I told myself I was going to finish my Harry Potter in Half the Time, and though I did get a good 8 or 9 scenes finished, including the bastard sorting scene!, I still am not finished. I took a hella long time on that sorting scene though and was just about to say bugger it when inspiration hit me like a sledge hammer and I got it figured. However, as I don't have to work until 3:30 I think I'll try and get more done today... I really want to see this thing finished. And it will be, hopefully before school starts. Which is still ridiculously far away, but Matthew is coming home in 3 weeks and I. am so. STOKED. I just looked over all the music he's sent to me over the years, and every single one of them has an "I love you, I want you, I miss you" theme. Caraazy.
